Welcome to Royal Blu Ink Notary. By scheduling an appointment or using our services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.

1. Services Provided

Royal Blu Ink Notary provides professional notarial services in accordance with the laws of the State of Washington. Services may include:

• General notarizations

• Mobile notary services

• Loan signing services (when applicable)

• Acknowledgments

• Jurats

• Oaths and affirmations

• Certified copy attestations when permitted by Washington law

• Other lawful notarial acts authorized under Washington State law

Royal Blu Ink Notary is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice, legal representation, or document preparation unless otherwise authorized by law.

2. Identification Requirements

Every signer must present valid, government-issued photo identification that complies with Washington State requirements.

Acceptable forms of identification may include:

• Driver's license

• State-issued identification card

• U.S. passport

• Military identification

• Other forms of identification accepted under Washington law

Expired, damaged, or unacceptable identification may result in refusal of service.

3. Signer Requirements

Each signer must:

• Appear in person unless remote notarization is permitted and properly conducted.

• Be willing to sign voluntarily.

• Be mentally aware and capable of understanding the document.

• Communicate directly with the notary.

• Have all required pages of the document available.

The notary reserves the right to refuse service if any legal requirement is not satisfied.

4. Document Review

Documents must be complete before notarization.

Royal Blu Ink Notary does not:

• Explain legal documents

• Recommend which notarial act should be performed

• Determine whether a document is legally sufficient

• Provide legal advice

If you are unsure which notarial act is required, consult the document issuer or a licensed attorney.

 

5. Fees

Fees are charged in accordance with Washington State law.

Additional fees may include:

• Mobile travel fees

• After-hours appointments

• Weekend or holiday appointments

• Emergency or same-day service

• Printing or document handling fees

All fees will be disclosed before services are performed.

Payment is due at the time of service unless other arrangements have been made.

Accepted payment methods may include:

• Cash

• Credit or debit card

• Electronic payment platforms

• Other approved payment methods

6. Travel Fees

Mobile appointments include a travel fee based on distance, travel time, tolls, parking, or other associated expenses.

Travel fees may still apply if the appointment is canceled after the notary has begun traveling.

 

7. Appointment Cancellations

Clients should provide at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations whenever possible.

Royal Blu Ink Notary reserves the right to charge:

• Travel fees for late cancellations

• Full travel fees for no-show appointments

• Additional fees for repeated cancellations

8. Refusal of Service

Royal Blu Ink Notary reserves the right to refuse service if:

• Proper identification cannot be provided.

• A signer appears unwilling or under duress.

• A signer appears impaired.

• The document is incomplete.

• The requested notarization violates Washington law.

• Fraud or illegal activity is suspected.

• The notary believes performing the notarization would be improper.

9. Limitation of Liability

Royal Blu Ink Notary is responsible only for properly performing the authorized notarial act.

Royal Blu Ink Notary is not responsible for:

• The contents or legality of documents

• Whether documents are accepted by third parties

• Errors made by document preparers

• Legal consequences arising from document use

Liability shall be limited to the extent permitted by Washington law.

10. Privacy

Client information is kept confidential except as required by law.

Information may be retained in accordance with Washington recordkeeping requirements and may be disclosed only when legally required.

11. Electronic Communications

By scheduling an appointment electronically, you consent to receive appointment confirmations, invoices, reminders, and service-related communications by email or text message.

12. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the State of Washington.

 

13. Changes to Terms

Royal Blu Ink Notary reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated terms become effective upon publication.
